Monochrome Confidentiality and Data Protection Policy
At Monochrome, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection. This policy outlines the responsibilities of all employees who access sensitive information, including user and driver data, internal financial records, and company operations. It strictly prohibits the unauthorized use, sharing, copying, or storage of personal or company data on personal devices. Any breach of this policy constitutes a serious violation of our operating procedures and may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal and legal consequences. All staff are required to read, understand, and adhere to this policy, and to process personal data solely through company-authorized platforms in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
1. Purpose of Agreement
This Agreement outlines the Employee’s obligation to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of sensitive information accessed while employed by Monochrome.
2. Scope of Confidential Information
The Employee will have access to confidential and personal information, which includes but is not limited to:
User Data: Full names, phone numbers, email addresses, pickup and drop-off locations, ride histories, and in-app interactions.
Driver Data: Profile images, identity documents (e.g., passports, driver’s licenses), vehicle information, earnings data, and bank details.
Company Information: Internal policies, business strategies, user statistics, operational procedures, and any other non-public company data.
Employment Details: The Employee’s own salary, compensation, bonuses, and internal performance evaluations.
3. Confidentiality Obligations
The Employee agrees to:
Treat all information described above as strictly confidential.
Only access or use confidential information as necessary for work-related duties and exclusively on company-authorized software or systems.
Never disclose, share, or discuss confidential information with any third party, including family or friends.
Not save, extract, copy, or transfer any confidential information to personal devices (e.g., mobile phones, laptops, hard drives, cloud storage) or unauthorized platforms.
Not print or photograph sensitive information unless explicitly authorized in writing by Monochrome.
Immediately report any suspected or actual data breach, loss, or unauthorized disclosure.
4. Use of Company Software Only
The Employee must only process or handle personal information of customers, drivers, or staff using official Monochrome platforms and software. Any processing or interaction with sensitive data outside of approved systems is strictly prohibited.
5. Review of Privacy Policy
The Employee acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to Monochrome’s Privacy Policy and agrees to act in accordance with all data protection obligations outlined therein.
6. Breach of Agreement
Any breach of this Agreement, including the unauthorized disclosure, extraction, or misuse of confidential information, will constitute a serious violation of Monochrome’s internal operating procedures and will result in:
Disciplinary action, up to and including immediate dismissal.
Loss of entitlements, including bonuses or other compensation.
Legal consequences, including potential civil or criminal liability and the obligation to compensate Monochrome for any damages or losses incurred.
