Campaign Brief: “Now I’m Ready” by Monochrome

At Monochrome, we believe that every journey begins with a moment of transformation, that shift from stillness to motion, from preparation to action. The “Now I’m Ready” campaign captures that exact moment, when you’ve finished getting ready, the vibe is right, and it’s time to move.

Campaign Visual Brief

“Now I’m Ready” is a short visual storytelling campaign where influencers, creators, or brand partners show their before and after — the transition from being unready to ready to step out. The transformation should happen through a creative transition, special effect, outfit change, or visual jump cut, symbolising the instant shift between preparation and motion.

After the transition, the creator should be seen leaving the scene, walking confidently out of the frame or exiting towards a Monochrome car, representing readiness to move, explore, or take on the day.


The Story Arc

  1. Unready/Before Scene:

    • This is the raw, behind-the-scenes moment — messy hair, pyjamas, towels, casual vibes, or that “still getting ready” energy.

    • Keep it fun, relatable, or even humorous.

  2. The Transition Moment:

    • This is where the creativity happens — use editing, camera movement, outfit flips, object throws, or dance moves to make the transformation visually exciting.

    • Common techniques:

      • Snap transitions (snap fingers and switch outfit)

      • Jump cuts (camera angle change with outfit change)

      • Spin or jump transitions

      • Use of visual effects or overlays

      • Match-on-action transitions (throwing a jacket, turning, closing a door, etc.)

  3. Ready/After Scene:

    • The creator appears fully dressed, confident, and ready.

    • This should reflect personal style — whether it’s workwear, night-out fashion, gym clothes, or something expressive of their personality.

    • End the video with them leaving the space — walking out of their room, house, or getting into a Monochrome ride.


Creative Direction

The campaign should feel effortless, stylish, and cinematic, yet authentic to the influencer’s personal aesthetic. Each video should feel like a unique expression of what “ready” means to them, ready to move, ready to live, ready to go.
