Marketing Material

1. Usage Rights
If you are granted usage rights, you will have full access to our official media library, which includes PNG, PDF, and JPEG formats of our logos, promotional graphics, and marketing materials. These assets are designed to help you promote Monochrome easily and consistently across your own channels — whether that's on social media, websites, print flyers, or event displays.
You’re free to use these materials to:
Share your referral code or promotional link
Promote Monochrome ride benefits and features
Announce offers or bonus campaigns
Visually align with Monochrome’s modern and eco-friendly brand
2. Purpose & Scope
These guidelines ensure the Monochrome icons and badges are used correctly and consistently.
They cover app icons (customer and driver), circular driver badges, and website favicons. Do not edit,
stretch, recolor, or alter the icons beyond the rules described here.
3. Color & Typography
Primary background color (navy): #28293F. Icons are rendered as a light outline on navy or black; on
light backgrounds, use the black/charcoal outline version. Do not introduce unapproved colors into
the icon stroke. Typography shown in some badges (“Drivers”) is set in a clean geometric sans
(match platform default or your brand font).
4. Clear Space & Minimum Size
Maintain a clear space around the icon equal to at least 10% of the icon’s width on all sides. No text,
buttons, or other graphics may intrude into this area. Minimum digital size: 32×32 px for
favicons/badges; 64×64 px for UI buttons; 1024×1024 px master for app stores.
5. Backgrounds
Use navy or black backgrounds for the white-outline icon; use white or light neutral backgrounds for
the charcoal-outline icon. Avoid busy photos behind small icons. Ensure WCAG contrast ratio ≥ 4.5:1
for any icon + label combinations.
6. App Icon Usage (iOS & Android)
The square navy app icons are for the App Store/Play Store and device home screens. Keep the icon
centered and unaltered. Export a 1024×1024 master PNG and let Xcode/Android Studio generate
scaled sizes. Do not add extra borders, drop shadows, or text onto the app icon.
7. Driver Badge Usage
The round driver badge can be used in marketing tiles or as a section avatar. When including a text
label like “Drivers,” set it beneath the mark and center-align. Do not place additional words inside the
circular badge unless supplied in the artwork.
8. Website Favicons & App Touch Icons
Generate ICO/PNG sizes 16×16, 32×32, 48×48 and Apple Touch icons at 180×180. Keep sufficient
safe area so the outline doesn’t clip. Use the navy circle favicon on light headers; use the
white-outline-on-black variant for dark UIs.
9. Do’s & Don’ts
Do: keep proportions, use approved colors, respect clear space, export crisp PNG/SVG. Don’t:
stretch, rotate, add gradients/strokes/shadows, change line thickness, place over low-contrast
imagery, or add text inside the mark.
10. File Naming & Delivery
Use semantic names like mono-driver-icon_1024.png, mono-customer-icon_1024.png,
favicon-16.png, favicon-32.png. Maintain @1x/@2x/@3x for UI assets.
11. Contact
For new sizes, alternate colorways, or edge cases, contact the Monochrome design team. Do not
recreate icons manually—request an approved asset if the use case isn’t covered.
Please ensure that logos and graphics are not altered in a way that distorts or misrepresents the Monochrome brand. If you're ever unsure how to use a particular asset, feel free to reach out for guidance or support.
We’re excited to have you representing the Monochrome community — and we’ve made it as simple as possible to get started!
