Monochrome Brand Partner
Induction Guide
by Anthonia. O

We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to building a strong and rewarding partnership with you.

To help you get started and make the most of this opportunity, please take note of the following important guidelines:

  1. Referral Code and Sign-ups

  • Sign-ups from friends or family members who did not use your referral code will not be counted as yours, even if you were the one who referred them.  Kindly remind everyone you refer to always input your referral code correctly.

  • Referral codes are case-sensitive. Ensure that your audience inputs the code exactly as it is, either all lowercase or all uppercase, to avoid errors. Ensure your audience do not add space while inputting the referral code.

  1. Deliverables and Commitment

The number of deliverables you produce each month is entirely up to you.
Your level of commitment determines your earnings and the overall success of your partnership with Monochrome, as well as the number of referrals we get from you. We consider all this before the extension of the offer.

Our initial partnership term is three (3) months, and may be extended based on your performance, consistency, and dedication.

  1. Operational Coverage

Monochrome is currently operational in Abuja and Jos only.
As we expand to other states, all brand partners and customers will be informed.

Creating Acceptable and Effective Content

To ensure your content gets approved and delivers impact, please follow these key guidelines:

1. Be Creative and Authentic

  • Submit unique and natural content that reflects real-life moments, routines, or experiences.

  • Avoid overly staged videos, authentic content feels more engaging and relatable.

  • You should be the main character while monochrome stays in your shadow, your videos should not look like ads. Overly promotional content tends to appear forced.

2. Avoid Repetition

  • We’ve noticed that many brand partner contents look similar. Same storylines, visuals, and voiceovers.
Please explore new ideas and express your individuality.

  • Refer to the Brand Partner Content Guide for inspiration and picture styles you can recreate.

3. Maintain Professionalism

  • As a Monochrome Brand Partner, you represent our brand and always appear neat, confident, and classy.
Think about what message and feeling you want to leave with your audience.

4. Use of Logo and App Clips

  • Avoid using the Monochrome Assets in your content. E.g the monochrome logo, driver logo, the hashtag move with monochrome.

  • If you choose to include a short clip of the booking process, or the icon on the splash screen, ensure the app:

    • Loads properly

    • Shows a clear map

    • Displays a smooth booking process

Our main aim is to promote the app and get more people to use our services, and we shouldn't create content paying less attention to little errors, like the map not loading or the booking process being delayed. If your network is weak or you’re outside an operational area, please skip this clip entirely to maintain content quality.

5. Keep It Subtle, Not Salesy

  • Do not add direct promotional phrases like
“Sign up using my referral code to get ₦6,000 ride credit.”
Such statements make the video feel unnatural.
We’ll handle tagging and referral mentions when appropriate on our official platforms. You can always promote your referral code on your personal platforms.

6. Show Real Activities

  • Avoid sending repetitive clips of just sitting in a car.
Instead, create scenes that show real, dynamic activities connected to your daily routine, that’s what keeps content engaging.

7. You need to know more about the app and its unique features,

Express what you like about the app, not just a stress-free, seamless ride. What do you like?

Getting To Know You (Brand Partners)

Question: What type of content do you excel at creating, and which formats or styles are you most comfortable working with? Could you share examples of your best work?

Additionally, please review their pages collectively and propose content ideas that align with their lifestyle and routines.

We’d love for you to craft a narrative that walks us through a day in your life, highlighting how Monochrome played a role in helping you reach your destination. Throughout the story, maintain a strong sense of individuality: embrace your unique perspective, stay authentic, and position yourself confidently as the central figure in your content.

Final Notes

Always review the Brand Partner Content Guide before submitting your work.
It includes approved picture styles, recommended tones, and scenes of videos to capture to make your content look professional and on brand.

By following these guidelines, you’ll reduce wasted effort, increase approval rates, and make your content stand out beautifully in our campaigns.

Welcome again to the Monochrome team, let’s make creativity move!
